Hello Mctek!! Early in the story i said i was disappointed, but it wasn't with the plot, i didn't like seeing Ishtar hanging from that machine, it seemed like she was in pain, but you cleared that up. Not into the bondage and pain thing!! This story is very interesting and is turning out to be very good!! It seems Feelix Von Ick has taken all threats out of the picture!! I hope we see Ishtar again! His plans has worked very well , he has all these powerful heroines as his brainwashed slaves. At this point i don't see how he can fail!! Even if his daughter turns on him because of her feelings for clone 42 and helps kitten find away to defeat Von Ick, how are they going to undo what he has done, brainwashing all those heroines, how are they going to reverse that process?? Looking forward to the next installment.

even though "einfrieren" is a word by word translation for the english word "freeze" that is used in that situation it's still wrong if you want to picture the Von Ick's as germans as no german would use that word in that said situation :D
(unless you want all characters to be frozen literally)

we germans are quite simple in our useage of words... if we want someone to stop we shout "Stop!" or "Halt!" or "Keine Bewegung!" (don't move)

I'm not sure about "thaw" (it fits the idea that the characters are literally frozen)... if a german person want's someone to wake up from a deep slumber we say "Wach auf" (wake up)

well, that's my 2 cents as a native german

Ah! my bad Kakyo001, didn't mean to offend ya. Being Mexican, i can understand how it can be annoying to get it wrong. I guess in my mind I was trying to find a word that isn't used often. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. Thanks for the heads up, I'm make sure to check around before trying that again.

I'm not easily offended :) just trying to help with the translations :D

I had my fair share of therms that make sense in my language but are completely rubbish if you try to translate them word by word :)

as an example: "Daumen drücken" is transtaled word by word with "pressing your thumbs" while its meaning is actually "crossing your fingers" (to wish someone luck)

Ah ok, i see what you mean, honestly. I didn't think it would be that bad, might need some future translating since Feelix and Miranda are german. So at some point may need the help.

Hello McTek! I have some comment and questions for "The Island of Zombots #8":

first few pages are very sweet, we see 42, now "Dawn" and Miranda Von Ick in love it is very touching to see her come this far from her pain. and she obey her programming still! Von Ick is not so smary after all ;)

Freeing Kitten was also good, it was time! this girl has spent so long in that cell! but WHY IS Kitten so important? even his daughter does not know?

Page 9. Zombots! but true heroines they are. outsmarting programed women.

As Ick stops them it is a very tense moment. How? only a true mastermind would think of programing deeply this much.

on conclusion, it seem all hope is lost you have given them the chance to escape but they have not? this does not bode well for Kitten I think she will end as zombot and miranda will be sad and angry then if Dawn is also gone.

very looking forward to number Nine!

That's why "interpretation" is not the same thing as "translation".

That small issue aside (and to be honest, as a non-German speaker but who recognizes some German, I didn't realize there might be a difference either), I'm digging thestory. Needless to say, I'm all for deeper storylines than are normally presented and this is turning out nicely.

Dear McTek:

Island of Zombots # 8 is great, and still cannot leave up to my admittedly very high expectations… I imagine that for that, it would have to be at least three times longer, but no matter, I blame you for doing such a great work.

Well, from pages 1 to four… Oh boy, now that Dawn has sincere with her former mistress now lover, she could speak for herself… like someone who has ideas… and those ideas are good! This is touching and serves the plot… we don’t know Von Ick’s motives to forbid individuality to the clones (unless those were the root cause for Kari Lan’s death), but this is certainly a great way to show why he would be so pissed with this development.

Pages 5 to 7: It’s cool to see that being trapped in a cell for days (it were days, weren’t it?) has not destroyed Kitten’s spirit. She will need it.

Also a great allusion to his boyfriend, Gus. He doesn’t get mentioned a lot. I also want to talk about Miranda’s lift race, from asian to Caucasian woman? Could Ick’s tech do that? Does he has another version of Doogan’s machine? Or is anything completely different?

Pages 6 to 13 show Kitten at least with clothes! What happened with her clothes, if they were going to make Kitten’s safety top priority, why does she have to stay nude? Also, the agents are very easy to manipulate, too much for Von Ick’s policy of “no individual thinking”.

And Von Ick’s idea to “freeze” and “thaw” is great! Keeping a password! Great precaution!

And about page 15, I just love the very fact that Kitten has managed to steal Miranda’s loyalty from Von Ick… again. Really, this shows us that she could be really the chosen one to whatever Von Ick claims she’s destined to be.

Page 17: Good or not so good? Could Von Ick been referring to Kari Lan’s sacrifice, or another thing?

Page 18 to 20… I hope Dawn and Kitten are not brainwashed… or worse… but the part that intrigues me is “I can’t do this again”, could Miranda been referring to her dream in issue 1, or another thing?

This is a great series and my favorite storyline in this site, and I am always anxious to see next issue and your comments!

Great issue Tek!
I love this story so much. I like that the heroines are facing a very real threat in this story (not that they haven't in others).
Ick certainly makes a great villain.

I am wondering about page 15 in this issue where Ick shouts "You! Why must you take her from me?" - he seems to be looking at Miranda rather than Kitten.
And page 20 - has Miranda been time-traveling? Makes me think that Ick is looping through time trying to accomplish something till he gets it right.

Can't wait till the next issue.
Stay tuned, same zombot time, same zombot channel!

Loving this arc so far. Lots of twists, characters to keep track of. Fun to read.

Last issue was hard to see how they're gonna get free, guessing Kitten's going to end up a Zombot. Miranda will go postal on dad.

Loving the Terra cameo. Fucking hot how Miranda's just has layers of programs inside her. The tie-in to every comic before.

Terra making herself evil to do good? Hot.

Don't understand why Von Ick didn't zombot Kitten. Would've been hot to see her go against Miranda.

Doing this to protect Miranda? Great dad lol. Awesome issue. Can't wait till next one.

Hello McTek! I have some comments about "The Island of Zombot #9":

Kitten is going to sent to same fate as Ring Mistress :( I think the world could not bear such a loss!

Ring Mistress! A very shocking apperaance, she is programmed inside Miranda Von Ick, truly a lovers gift no ;) ?

To see Ring Mistress make herself evil to save Miranda was very rewarding, she is MUCH smarter than Von Ick! she also cheated ;) .

To run and be captured by those clones, and we now know what has happened, truly a tragedy for Ring Mistress.

Miranda braking free, with BLACK CAT POWER! very amazing moment, she is now a true superhero!

Thank you I cant wait for #10!
