The hilarious part of that is that it looked like the solution didn't even occur to Ginny or her mother. On the last page they were completely taken by surprise. But you could see it coming in Rudy's eyes several pages earlier.

If James Ray's touch control power only works on women, Rudy might have just opened herself to an attack she won't expect.

Finally, I wouldn't be surprised if James Ray made use of Vas to completely change one or more of the girls' looks. I think Kiana just won the Most Likely To Get A Slutty Makeover award. Unless, of course, her look is his "type", in which case the other three may be joining the Itty Bitty Titty Committee.
