Great start, excellent effects.

One nitpicking thing. In panel 5, the text is read from bottom to top. As this is the first such conversation, I assume that this is how to read this comic. Every other conversation is read Top to bottom witch makes it very confusing to read. The reader need to know from the start what way to read the chat, or they read every panel the wrong way and have to start over every panel.
