A little late but once again I am proud to present Chapter 12 of The Queen's Reign!

Synopsis:
The good Doctor seems to have thrown off all pretense of research and is now going after additions to his growing harem directly. Does his first little pet know of any good prospects? As a matter of fact she does! But it would seem that the drone invasion might put a bit of a damper on any plans for a quick visit to that particular spider's lair. What to do on such a rainy night instead? How about make up for lost time with a paramour a bit closer to home. But even after finally sealing the deal with Taylor events threaten to drag Angela away and back into the fray. And so the end- continues...

There you go guys... I hope the delay was worth the wait. Let me know what you think! We're closing in on the end now... one chapter at at time.

I really don’t understand very well the big picture… Is Angela now working to defeat the enemy doing some kind of suits? At least I understand the doctor is doing everything he can to amply his harem…

Angela does it again “The boys have done some very impressive work – even by my standards”. Please Angela, could you just SHUT UP???

Sam and Angela encounter was the hottest thing I have seen, my favorite is page 184. And then, Angela is phone called?

To tell you the truth, I was thinking that Angela was arrested by the guy, as you put it in your cover. It’s not that I am anxious to see something terrible happens to her, no. It’s only that this plot must move on and Angela is someone who deserves a lot of character development through suffering a living hell.

Please don’t interpret this as that I don’t like your story or your characters… it’s only that Angela reminds me of Wesley, and that annoying, even by her standars

Let me see if I can handle this in pieces, because if you're confused I'm sure others are too.

-- Angela has spoken with Taylor a few times about her work without letting loose too many details. So far we've seen comments and now evidence of guns and suits of armor that somehow employ the bio-field technology as a means to fight the collective invasion. She was just putting on some last minute edits of the suits before her pep-talk with Taylor in her room.

Forgive me if that wasn't more obvious but I didn't think it would work well to show the actual fabrication of the suits. I'm trying to focus more on the characters and less on the technology for the story.

-- She sort of was arrested, yes. More like "armed escort without the option to decline". And the guy is in one of the new suits both to show it off and to show that their reasons for her summons are not something a normal escort could handle. You know, if something were to happen.

-- As always Hector, thank you for your interest and your willingness to give a little feedback. As for the Wesley thing, cut me a little slack here (nice pun tho). I know I've mentioned that that allusion was somewhat intentional but bare in mind that while she is good with computers and has pulled off a few tricks the story is centered around her so I can't have her shut her trap for too long. Also, its not like she's been called out as the chosen one, or time traveled, or been artificially aged just to show what god-like powers can do. I'd make nanite references but that would be below the belt (Hey, at least she didn't MAKE them, eh?).

What she IS- is the prodigy child of a Captain in the Alliance. And grand-child of a senior Admiral (check prequel). So it shouldn't be surprising if she knows her way around the place and has a few tricks up her sleeves. If you had her mother's access and clout you'd have had a grade A+ education as well.

And bare with me just a little bit longer on the character development thing. She's going to have her day in the sun before the Queen's Reign officially begins. I promise- in fact, its not that far off.

Synopsis:
Research Station Delta has fallen and it would seem an old friend of Angela's is one the vid-phone just itching to spill the beans . Of course, the Lieutenant in charge of Angela's station would like to get a few answers out of her before they get down to girl-talk. Something tells me he's not going to get his way- the Doctor seems to be in a rather persnickety mood. Perhaps she'll be in a more revealing mood once she finishes her tour- oh! And after she opens her present from the Queen for doing such a good job. And so the end... continues.

You are most welcome. This chapter excited me because I felt it was a sequel to a previous chapter when Kasey was born. The process is awesome and its exciting. The second to last page got me the most excited because of what Kasey said. "The next part" Now I'm just wondering what she could possibly mean. Chapter 14 is going to be real exciting.

Hmm....interesting? I can only imagine what could possibly have caused this! Ah well, 2 more weeks to find out.

Dear Firstborn:

I am as confused as Angela at issue # 13… why do the aliens wanted precisely her, to show this strange “guided tour”? What are the aliens doing showing them their plans? What are the drones doing?

I must confess that I cannot grasp the big picture with your story, but I love the details: Kassidy’s enslavement, change of hair color and everything, was great!

The part I find bizarre was when Kassidy produced a collar from her mouth at page 203… yuck! I assume she did produce the collar that she is wearing at page 204… and then the tour ends?

So, I am all for torturing Angela of course, but why this show? Is Angela the Chosen One or something? I can’t wait to read next issue!

I have to ask similar questions when it comes to this series. Each chapter just answers a wee bit, and brings more questions. However, its still one of my favorites and I LOVE it.
