I must say, to see a superheroine so powerful in her secret identity as in her super heroine identity being defeated by Max was arousing. I love that kind of scenes and for that, I thank you. My only question? Why is there not an Evil Laugh at the final page?
Given all the comments this last issue have provoked, I would like to say that even when Andrea’s defeat seems rushed, it was time to advance the plot, and after all, Max is threatening with kill innocents and no decent hero will stand for that (just ask the dark knight how bad that gone).
But the principal point is that you had commented in the post that this was only one of the lot of twists you promised in your storyline, I am willing to wait to see you surprise us! I have plenty of trust in your skills as a writer to convince us this was a good decision.
PD: I know you’re not trying to produce the next Watchmen, but your comics are very well done in this niche market. Also, comparing Adam West with Chris Nolan is something strange… we are talking about batman, a comic book character: Adam West did a campy parody, but Chris Nolan treated him as a shakespearan character… what of these opinions are more mature?

... Long may it reign.

This is a bit of a spoiler for The Chrome Virus (being updated at the metrobaycomix.com site) -- it looks like Alpha Woman is going to put an end to Belinda's prison fun. At least, Valiant Grrl seems to be back at squad HQ as of the end of this story.
And if her plans work out we might even see American Amazon restored and who would have ever imagined *that* would be possible? (Although that does bring another question to mind -- just how much credibility can 'Patriot Princess' have as a superheroine with a giant "Cum Dumpster" tattoo on her belly? I realize the citizens of Metrobay are deeply stupid, but that seems excessive even for them.)

This story's place in the timeline isn't QUITE set in stone. It could've been before her enslavement, during it (she did spend SOME time back at the Squad), or, yeah, after. It's the same way I didn't put an official stamp on when "Body Image" took place or Finister's "Wicked Fun Park", which also has her walking around and not having her face shoved up Belinda's bum.And if her plans work out we might even see American Amazon restored and who would have ever imagined *that* would be possible? Oh, well, you see, "Patriot Princess" is a poster child of Max's good and noble "reform" program he's set up with the APEX Avengers. She's "seen the light" and reformed from her whoring, slutty ways and has embraced his noble superheroine group to use her "assets" to better use, even if she still carries the history of her naughty days...
... or at least that's the story she and Max will tell.

Well, if it's after then we know how "The Chrome Virus" is going to turn out. Northern Chill gives some good reasons why it wouldn't make sense to be during, which leaves the question of could it be before. Specifically, could it be before "Forbidden Fantasy", the arc in which Valiant Grrl was enslaved by Belinda and taken into the Funhouse? Let's think about that. We know that "Business Ethics" takes place after "A New Drone In Town" becaue Ginger Monroe is no longer a greybot. And we see Valient Grrl as a brainwashed Funhouse guard in "A New Drone In Town" #2, while Ginger is de-greyed in #5. We can't put "A New Drone In Town" before "Catatonic Kitty" because Fran's conversion into a greybot took place in CK. "Catatonic Kitty" takes place after "Musk of the Mynx" and "Musk of the Mynx" takes place after "Forbidden Fantasy".
I think you run into some pretty nasty contradictions if you try to put "Business Ethics" before "Forbidden Fantasy". And now that I've demonstrated that I have way too much time on my hands I'm going to go do something useful with my weekend.
Northern Chill wrote:To pinpoint it more, Ethics has to follow the events of "To Love And Obey" due to Vivian's state of mind, so to speak.
If it goes before Fantasy, it'd have to occur before Illicit Rendezvous for Ginger to make sense.

I'd say it occurs around the same period as Finister Foul's "Sex Pets of the Wild West" and "Wicked Fun Park". Besides that, Doc's plans for Valient Grrl and Alpha Woman are... interesting. I'm not ruling out either before or after, so long as the story remains interesting on its own merits. Though the existence of a whole new branch of superheroines in Metrobay IS something that wouldn't go unnoticed for loads of stories, I wager...
