AKULA MUTOMBO...25-year-old investigative journalist at the Daily Congo newspaper...watched the television in the office of her editor in chief HENRY TURE...with concern as a video played out on the screen. Also watching the video was 18-year-old photographer JOE KINTE...who within recent weeks had been working closely with Akula on the exclusive stories she wrote for the newspaper about the Democratic Republic of Congo's sexy superheroine GORILLA WOMAN.
The trio watched a video showing five 18-year-old girls...dressed in the blue shirts and blue skirts of Saint Benoit College... a private high school for the upper class ....located in the Democratic Republic of Congo's capital city of Kinshasa...in the custody of a nefarious rebel group known as the RASTA MILITIA...who were active in the jungles in the eastern parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"We have to do something about this Henry. The Rasta Militia are one of the most dangerous armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their leader GERALD WAMBUGU...is a powerful crime lord in the eastern part of the country...and controls a large part of the illegal marijuana trade there. We can't give in to the Rastas' demands" said Akula who was very concerned for the safety of the teenage school girls...as a woman...as a journalist...and as the Gorilla Woman.
